CONTEMPORARY DANCE TECHNIQUES

Discipline specializing of a practical orientation. The teaching course lasts 3 years – 180 academic hours , divided up in 6 units.

The students are formed in the specialty – mastery of actor and, seen the specificity of the profession of actor, I propose a program that includes, from the contemporary techniques, an initiation to dances of more distant eras of different peoples.

Preparation: mastery practices technique of the classical and modern dance as well as jazz dance ; she develops the improvisation capacities to the basis of the knowledges – to do obtain. Perfection of the motor capacites and expression capacities by a movement.

School results that will be evaluated:

• Mastery practices classical exercise of dance
• Mastery practices modern styles of dance of a high complexity
• Aptitude to elaborate choreographic studies on a given subject

Form under which serontdémontrés the results:

• Individual and overall tasks and demonstration
• Choreographic demonstrations on a musical work and on a dramatic matter

Evaluation criteria: Demonstration practices motor capacities in a dance and in a dramatic study; Individual reactivity at the time of an assigned task
